First export of peonies from Chile arrives in Brazil

After almost five months since the commercial opening following the corresponding phytosanitary authorization, the first shipment of Chilean peonies to Brazil was carried out.
The export was made through the company TrioFrut, in the O’Higgins Region, with support from Agropeonías. Brazil is a market with high consumption of flowers and climatic conditions that do not allow producing peonies locally.
ProChile authorities in Brazil highlighted that this milestone opens a relevant market with good logistics (more than ten daily flights Santiago – São Paulo).
